ABOUT US
Alcami Architecture is a Sydney-based architecture practice interested in the quiet power of space: how a room can hold memory, how a house can adapt across generations, and how architecture can give form to the cultural conditions of its time.
Our work sits between precision and atmosphere. We approach each project as more than a functional brief; we see it as a spatial argument, a cultural artefact, and a framework for living. Existing buildings are not treated as obstacles to be corrected, but as layered conditions to be read, questioned and transformed.
Alcami is interested in buildings that do not reveal themselves all at once; architecture that feels inevitable rather than imposed. Spaces that unfold slowly. Interiors that carry tension, calm, memory and ambiguity. Architecture that is generous without excess, contemporary without erasure, and enduring without nostalgia.
We design for people, but also for time.
